Today, I am doing something I have never done before. Starting my very own blog. (Not that I haven't written blog posts before; not that I haven't posted blog posts for my clients before.) Today, however, I am launching a blog that I hope will be a part of the legacy I want to leave for my children, grandchildren, great grandchildren (when they come along) and beyond.
I don't know why I have been dragging my feet on this for so long, but I suspect it was because I thought I needed to have something earth-shaking to share--that I needed to write something new every day or so in order to accomplish my goals. And then, it dawned on me that I have already written a great deal that lies buried in file folders on my computer and in spiral-bound notebooks and fancy journals I have kept over the years.
So my plan is to share some of what I have previously written, but not published, over the years. From time to time I will also share some writing that has previously been published, and of course, I will include some new writing, too. My hope is that as I share parts of my story, you my dear reader, will be inspired to live out the story of your life, moment by moment, day by day, year by year, in a way that honors God and others.
I welcome you to take a peek into my story, where you will see I am no one all that special–and yet, I am quite special! This I know because there has never been another me, nor will there ever be. We have all been created by God to be unique individuals placed on this earth to be who He has made us to be, and just like you, I want to be the best I can be.
My story is for God's glory!
